About the procedure

RETIX.C SMART DNA is a peeling treatment combining peptides and ferulic acid, applied to the face, neck, and décolleté areas. This treatment initiates DNA repair processes within skin cells, strengthening the skin’s immune system. After aesthetic procedures, it significantly shortens the skin’s recovery period. Unlike other acid-based treatments, it does not cause skin flaking or discomfort.

The procedure can be enhanced with the R.PEN microneedling device featuring the LED-Derma BioLights system, which amplifies the treatment’s effects on the skin. This device uses nano-sized needles to ensure a nearly imperceptible and painless experience, allowing active ingredients to penetrate directly into the epidermis. This process not only improves skin appearance but also promotes deep skin restoration and regeneration, imparting a youthful glow and elasticity. Additionally, integrated phototherapy boosts further skin regeneration.

Is it safe for pregnant women?

Ferulic acid and vitamin C are safe to use during pregnancy due to their antioxidant properties, which ensure skin protection, with minimal risk of adverse effects. Ferulic acid, as a strong antioxidant, helps protect against UVB-induced erythema, especially when combined with vitamin C, which provides additional photoprotection. Vitamin C also boosts collagen production and lightens the skin by inhibiting the oxidation process during melanin synthesis. Therefore, both ingredients are ideal for skincare during pregnancy. When is the RETIX.C Smart DNA procedure not recommended?

in case of oncological diseases;
in case of allergy to AHA or BHA acids;
in the presence of an infection caused by herpes virus or of other origin and in the event of damage to the integrity of the skin in the treatment area (eczema, psoriasis, acute acne, acute rosacea, etc.);
if you have undergone laser or wax facial hair removal treatments within the previous week.

Upon arrival, a specialist will examine you, assess your skin condition, and advise you on your facial care habits.

During the procedure

After removing make-up, the skin is prepared for the Pre-peel treatment. Sensitive areas such as the corners of the eyes, the area around the nose or the lips are treated with a protective cream. A 1-2 cm layer of exfoliant is then quickly and evenly applied, left on for 3-5 minutes and then neutralised. The next step is to massage a peptide cocktail into the skin. The treatment is completed by applying a layer of SPF50 sunscreen.

The treatment takes about 30 minutes and can be performed every 10-14 days. For effective results, we recommend a course of 3 treatments.
